METHOD AND TERMINAL FOR FAST RESTORING UPLINK-BLOCK EFFECT

PURPOSE: A method and terminal for a fast restoring uplink-block effect are provided to perform a triggered ranging operation with a base station which is anticipated to have an uplink synchronization error. CONSTITUTION: A signal measurement unit(170) samples the signal uploaded to and downloaded from a base station. The signal measurement unit measures signal state information depending on ach timing. If the timing offsets of uplink and downlink occurs according to the measured signal state information, a trigger judgment unit(180) judges whether or not the timing offset satisfies a preset trigger condition. If so, a control unit(190) requests a triggered ranging operation for obtaining the synchronization with the base station.
