<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic musical instrument capable of a wide-register musical chord performance using many sounds by eliminating restrictions on the number and registers of sounds played with both hands at the same time. <P>SOLUTION: In accordance with a pedal-ON operation on a registration pedal (soft pedal), a key-depressed sound is registered in a register without being generated. When the pedal-OFF operation of the registration pedal (soft pedal) is done or when a reproduction pedal (sostenuto pedal) is set in a pedal-ON state, the key-depressed sound registered in the register is generated in synchronism with the sound of the key-depressed sound and the key-depressed sound registered in the register is muted in synchronism with the sound of the released key, so restrictions on the number and registers of sounds played with both the hands are eliminated to perform the wide-register musical chord performance using many sounds. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
