PURPOSE: A water container with the water purification function is provided to purify water selected from tap water or river water, filling the water container. CONSTITUTION: A water container(1) includes the following: an opening unit(11) for inserting water; a cover unit(2) including a water discharging unit(22), and covering the opening unit using a fixing unit(3); and a water purifier(4) detachably inserted into the opening unit, with the upper circumference hanged on the opening unit. The water purifier purifies the water inside the water container, and discharges the purified water through the water discharging unit.
