PURPOSE: A freezing unit for an ice maker is provided to improve the shaking efficiency by directly delivering the repetitive rocking motion to a water tray using a forward reverse motor. CONSTITUTION: A freezing unit for an ice maker comprises a cooling plate(1), a water dish(2), a fluctuation part(4), and an ice separation part(3). The cooling plate comprises an evaporation tube(12) connected to a refrigerating system and a cooling projection(11). A rocking member(43) is formed in the end part of a driving shaft of a drive motor(41).
