PURPOSE: A device and a method for circulating underground water for underground heat exchange are provided to effectively prevent contaminants from being directly put into underground water by covering multiple deep wells using covers. CONSTITUTION: A device for circulating underground water for underground heat exchange comprises an underground heat exchanger(110), underground wells(120a,120b), a first pumping unit(140), an underground water tub(150), and a second pumping unit(170). Covers are installed on the top of the underground wells. The first pumping unit pump up underground water(160) from one underground well. The underground water tub temporarily stores the pumped water. The second pumping unit presses the underground water stored in the underground water tub and injects the underground water to the other underground well.
