<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soft magnetic steel material capable of producing a soft magnetic component exhibiting high alternating current magnetic flux density, and also maintaining satisfactory cold forgeability. <P>SOLUTION: The soft magnetic steel material has a composition comprising 0.005 to 0.05% C, 1.8 to 3.0% Si, 0.20 to 0.8% Mn, ≤0.02% P, 0.02 to 0.1% S, ≤0.1% Cu, ≤0.2% Ni, 1 to 3.5% Cr, 0.05 to 2.8% Al, ≤0.004% N and ≤0.02% O, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities, and in which F1 value calculated by formula: F1=97.0[C]+10.9[Si]+4.2[Mn]+23.8[P]+172.0[S]+15.0[Cu]-0.03[Ni]+5.1[Cr]+8.6[Al]+34.0[N]+8.38 is ≥60. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
