<p>PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing porous granules is provided to increase the speed of an electrolytic reduction process by obtaining spherical porous granules through a volatile oxidation process without an additional process. CONSTITUTION: Wasted nuclear fuel is arranged in a volatile oxidation device and is thermally processed at 450 to 600 Celsius degrees under an oxidation condition in order to obtain U_3O_8 fine powder(S110). Metal nuclei fission result and the U_3O_8 are thermally processed at 700 to 800 Celsius degrees under an oxidation condition in order to obtain U_3O_8 powder and a metal oxide(S210). The U_3O_8 powder is thermally processed at 1000 to 1300 Celsius degrees under an inert condition in order to obtain UO_2+z porous granules(S310).</p> |
