PURPOSE: A standby power cut-off auto control system and a method for the same are provided to completely shut down stand-by power using a simple circuit. CONSTITUTION: A PSW(Push-button Switch) is connected to an AC(Alternating Current) input unit, and supplies main power to a backend part when a user operates a push button. A DC(Direct Current) input unit(10) receives DC power from a computer main body(200). If the main power is instantly applied to the computer main body through the push button in a main power-off state of the main power, a control mean supplies power to the computer regardless of the state of the computer power switch.
