The plastic film is rolled off of a delivery roll and cut into sections in which a section is placed around a forming mandrel so that the longitudinal edges overlap and can be sealed together. Finally, the heat is applied to disperse the tension caused by overlapping, so that the tube maintains its cross sectional shape rather than returning to a round shape.
