A method for manufacturing an optical display device wherein optical members are arranged on an optical display unit by laminating the optical members in turn onto the optical display unit is provided. A method for manufacturing an optical display device having optical members on an optical display unit, comprises steps of laminating each of the optical member of plural optical members in turn on the optical display unit; wherein a release film is laid on each of the optical members through a pressure-sensitive adhesive interposed therebetween; feeding a long release-film-attached optical member from a material roll of the release-film-attached optical member; inspecting the optical member; cutting the optical member and the pressure-sensitive adhesive into a predetermined size without cutting the release film in accordance with a result of the inspection; and laminating the release-film-peeled optical member on the optical display unit through the pressure-sensitive adhesive interposed therebetween.
