PURPOSE: A real-time content providing system and a method thereof are provided to allow a user to receive various kinds of contents from a content provider without additional information accessibility information while watching broadcasting contents. CONSTITUTION: A real-time content providing system comprises a TV(10), a set-top box(20), a content panel list server(30), content providing servers(40a-40n) and a broadcasting station(50). The TV enables a user to watch digital contents on a screen, and the set-top box transmits an image signal to the TV through an antenna and receives data through a communication network. Controllers(12,22) of the TV and the set-top box allow the user to use various kinds of contents and an additional service. The content providing servers register a broadcasting program related content panel to the contents panel list server through the communication network.
