PURPOSE: A system for detecting fault of distribution line is provided to help a user to efficiently manage a distribution line by insolating a fault generation region from a distribution line. CONSTITUTION: A system for detecting fault of distribution line comprises: a sensor detecting a fault which is generated in a distribution line; a fault monitoring server receiving fault information from the sensor and generating a control signal based on the location of the distribution line of the sensor; and a plurality of opening/closing devices blocking power supply to the distribution line based on the control signal.
