PURPOSE: A method for controlling a mobile terminal using 3D interface is provided to display related menus of a currently executing application to each surface of polyhedron interface. CONSTITUTION: An application is executed(S101). If a specific object is selected, a polyhedron interface is generated(S102). On each surface of the polyhedron interface, related menus of the executing application is displayed(S103). If one side of the polyhedron interface is selected, a menu corresponding to the selective surface is executed(S104~S105). The related menu on each side of the polyhedron interface is displayed as a preview.
