PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device is provided to improve a brightness uniformity by securing thermal stability and improving hot spot phenomenon. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display device comprises a liquid crystal display panel, a light guide plate(22) placed on the bottom of the display panel for converting incident light into a plane light, and a plurality of light sources(24) placed on a side of the light guide plate for emitting light. The light guide plate is composed of multi layer including one or more first layer and a second layer with higher glass-transition temperature and bigger refractive index. |
