PURPOSE: A washer motor pump having a waterproof function is provided to prevent the corrosion and leak of the motor caused by water infiltration. CONSTITUTION: A washer motor pump having a waterproof function comprises a housing(110), an impeller, and an impeller case(130). A terminal cap for applying power to a motor is coupled to the top of the housing. The impeller is connected to the rotary shaft of the motor exposed on the bottom of the housing. The impeller case comprises first vent holes(131), an air guide channel(132) which is connected to the first vent holes and formed along the edge of a washer liquid chamber(134), and second vent holes(111) which are connected to the air guide channel. Therefore, the internal air of the housing heated by the motor is discharged through the second vent holes, the air guide channel, and the first vent holes and the infiltration of water is blocked by the air guide channel. |
