PURPOSE: A system and a method for automatically downloading recommended contents, and a portable multimedia device thereof are provided to improve the media accessibility and usability by enabling a user to use the recommended contents regardless of time and place. CONSTITUTION: A portable multimedia device(100) downloads and stores recommended contents from a media contents if there is new recommended contents. A contents recommendation information supply server(200) considers contents-holding information to confirm whether or not new recommended contents exists, and provides a confirmed result. A media server(300) stores and manages the contents, and searches and extracts the corresponding contents according to the request of the portable multimedia terminal. |
