PURPOSE: A sample holder for scattering neutron is provided to match the sizes of sample and neutron by using a silicon slab of thickness to keep enough reflectivity of the neutron. CONSTITUTION: A sample holder for scattering neutron comprises a silicon slab(400), a receiving member(200), a housing(100), and a housing cover(300). The silicon slab is made of a transparency silicon material after the neutron is entered. The receiving member is contacted with the silicon slab reflective surface. The sample solution is accepted to inside the receiving member. The housing includes the space containing the silicon slab and a sample receptor member. The space, for transmitting neutron, is formed in the side of the housing. A cooling channel, through which cooling water passes, is formed in the housing in order to stably maintain the inside temperature of the housing. The housing cover is fixed on top of the housing and is adhered closely to the receiving member. A circular space is formed in the central part of the housing cover.
