PURPOSE: A coupled torsion-beam axle of a vehicle is provided to greatly enhance durability since the stress of a trailing arm and a torsion-beam connecting part is effectively dispersed and thus the damage of the connecting part is prevented. CONSTITUTION: A coupled torsion-beam axle of a vehicle comprises a torsion beam(1), trailing arms(3) and a reinforcing member(7). The trailing arms are respectively coupled to both ends of the torsion beam. One end of the reinforcing member is coupled to the trailing arm, and the other end is extended along the length of the torsion beam. The side of the reinforcing member between both ends adjacent to the torsion beam is integrally coupled to the torsion beam on the whole section along the length of the torsion beam. A bent portion(5) is formed between both ends of the reinforcing member. The reinforcing member is formed in a triangle shape, in which one end of the reinforcing member, which is coupled to the trailing arm, becomes narrower toward the other end in width. |
