PURPOSE: A handover performing method in a wireless communication system and an apparatus thereof are provided to use a favorable function of a femto base station and to increase the intensity of a signal which is received from a macro base station. CONSTITUTION: A terminal(100) includes a transceiver(110), a femto base station detecting unit(120), a hand-over process unit(130), and a network resetting unit(140). A hand-over process device(200) includes a terminal detecting unit(220) and a network resetting unit(240). A hand-over execution device(300) of a macro base station includes a transceiver(310), a terminal searching unit(320), a hand over processing unit(330), and a data buffering unit(340).
