PURPOSE: A mobile virtual guitar having a long fingerboard and a method thereof are provided to enable a user to conveniently play a virtual guitar on a narrow touch screen. CONSTITUTION: A mobile virtual guitar includes a plurality of song data. The mobile virtual guitar automatically moves a fingerboard with reference to a fingerboard location according to a cord progress. The mobile virtual guitar calculates the musical performance length of cord when the fingerboard is automatically moved.
