PURPOSE: A device for inspecting the macro etching of steel intermediate goods is provided to effectively manage the quality of intermediate goods and finial products since the quality of the steel intermediate goods is accurately and rapidly grasped. CONSTITUTION: A device for inspecting the macro etching of steel intermediate goods comprises a deposition tank(10), a washing tub(20), a specimen transfer device(200), and a control device(100). The deposition tank contains etchant. The washing tub contains rinse solution. The specimen transfer device successively transfers specimen to the deposition tank and the washing tub. The control device controls the operation of the specimen transfer device.
