PURPOSE: A high voltage power supply and a supply voltage stabilization method are provided to stabilize the collector voltage by controlling the output pulse width of the pulse generator according to the helix current. CONSTITUTION: A pulse generator(40) generates the pulse for the high voltage production. The pulse generator generates the pulse which has the modified pulse width according to the control voltage. A driver(50) generates the switching pulse by using the pulse. A rectifying/smoothing circuit(70) comprises a varying circuit generating the control voltage for varying the pulse width of the pulse.
