PURPOSE: A portable terminal device and a using method thereof which enables neighboring environment detection are provided to supply neighboring environment information which direct information to a user by searching contamination index and ultraviolet index using a portable terminal device. CONSTITUTION: A sensor device(201) senses information of current location by collecting and processing environment information. An input device receives an input form a user. A display device(204) displays information inputted through the sensor device and the input device. A control device(203) controls information inputted through the sensor device and the input device to be displayed on the display device. A communication device(211) communicates with a portable terminal device by suing Bluetooth communication.
