PURPOSE: A motor and an optical disk drive using the same are provided to reduce a manufacturing process of the motor by improving a combination structure of a base plate and a sleeve holder. CONSTITUTION: At least one protrusion(52) is formed on a base plate(50). A body unit has a cylindrical shape combined with a sleeve(13). A flange part(17) is protruded from the lower side of the body unit. A sleeve holder(14) has one insertion hole formed on the flange part. The protrusion unit is inserted into the insertion hole and is combined with the base plate.
