PURPOSE: A touch panel input device, a method thereof, and a mobile device using the same are provided to execute main commands of a multi-touch in a hardware which cannot perform a multi-touch operation. CONSTITUTION: A position detection unit(100) detects a touch point of a user input unit. A operation unit(300) extracts coordinate and motion information of a virtual finger corresponding to the touch point. A display unit(400) displays the virtual finger according to the extracted information. A command unit(500) generates a command signal according to movement of the user input unit and the virtual finger. A touch time calculator(200) calculates a touch time of the user input unit. If the touch time exceeds designated time, the virtual finger is displayed. |
