PURPOSE: An installation structure of a seat cross member for a vehicle is provided to reduce the fracture of a side room inner member by increasing the section modulus of the side room inner member. CONSTITUTION: An installation structure of a seat cross member for a vehicle comprises a seat cross member(1). The bottom surface of the seat cross member is welded in the top of a center floor panel(2) by horizontally crossing a vehicle body. Both ends of the seat cross member are welded in side room inner members(3) which form both frames of the vehicle body. The seat cross member is welded in the vertical wall surfaces(6) of the side room inner members. The seat cross member is welded in the top horizontal wall surfaces(8) of the side room inner members.
