PURPOSE: A washing machine is provided to compensate unbalance by controlling a location of ball balancer balls considering a specification of a vibration mode. CONSTITUTION: A control unit performs rotation of a drum at a predetermined speed in a first rotation speed section(c1). The control unit compares the sensed first unbalance with first permitted unbalance. The controller enters into an excessive area by the acceleration of the drum. In a third rotation speed, the controller performs rotation at a predetermined speed for a first set time(c2). The control unit exceeds the transient zone by acceleration over a third rotation speed(c3).
