PURPOSE: A method for driving electrophoretic display apparatus is provided to improve visibility by resetting and inserting a panel into a plurality of division areas successively. CONSTITUTION: In a method for driving electrophoretic display apparatus, an electrophoresis panel(100) is comprised of mxn pixels. A scan driver scans the pixels of the electrophoresis panel. A data driver transfers a reset voltage or an image data voltage to pixels. A signal control unit provides a scan control signal and a data control signal. A memory stores a data signal. The electrophoresis panel is divided into k in row direction. A black reset voltage is applied to each division area.
