PURPOSE: A bed ascent and descent device and a bed including the same are provided to minimize the size of a cylinder by ascending and descending a main frame of the bed. CONSTITUTION: A bed ascent and descent device(1) comprises a cylinder, a shaft, a belt(500), a main body, one or more rollers(400). The cylinder is composed of a cylinder main body and a rod. In the cylinder, a driving unit is installed. The rod moves to the top and bottom by the driving unit. The shaft moves to the top and bottom and is fixed to the outside of the main body. One end of the belt is fixed to the main frame(700) of the bed. The other end of the belt is fixed to prevent vertical movement.
