<p>PURPOSE: An electric damper for ventilation is provided to simplify the structure of an electric damper and facilitate the control of the electric damper using an inexpensive AC synchronous motor. CONSTITUTION: An electric damper(100) for ventilation comprises a cylindrical body housing(110), a damper, a drive unit(130), a micro-switch(151), a relay, and a controller. The damper is installed inside the body housing by a rotary shaft to be rotatable in order to open and close a flow path. The drive unit comprises a drive motor(131) which connects to the rotary shaft and rotates the damper and a cam(133) integrated on the line of the same shaft between the damper and the drive motor. Recesses and protrusions are formed on the outer surface of the cam. The micro-switch comprises elastic pieces. A switching direction is converted between a normal close contact and a normal open contact inside the micro-switch. The switching direction of the relay is converted by the relay drive unit in order to turn on and off power supplied to the drive motor. The controller controls the relay drive unit and rotates the damper at a 90 degree angle in order to open and close the damper.</p> |
