RUDDER FOR SHIP

PURPOSE: A rudder for a ship is provided to reduce the possibility of vortex occurring and to enhance the propulsion efficiency of a propeller. CONSTITUTION: A rudder for a ship comprises a body(110), a bulb(120), and an auxiliary blade(130). A part of the bulb is protruded onto the front of the body. The bulb is aligned and arranged on the rotary shaft of a propeller. The auxiliary blade is extended from the outer circumferential surface of the bulb. At least a part of the inner end of the auxiliary blade is located ahead than the front end of the body. The extended direction of the auxiliary blade faces the back side. The outer end of the auxiliary blade has a round shape.
