PURPOSE: An automatic cutting device for wallpaper is provided to automatically detect the accurate length of wallpaper by measuring the number of scales marked on the connecting part of the wallpaper using a photo-sensor. CONSTITUTION: An automatic cutting device for wallpaper comprises a sensor unit, a controller, and a cutter(160). The sensor unit and the controller estimate the transfer length of wallpaper from scales which are marked at regular intervals on the connecting part of the wallpaper. The cutter is installed on the end of the rod(161a) of a cylinder(161), wherein the cylinder is installed in a head(163) and reciprocates up and down. The head is coupled to be slid on a rail(112) which is extended in the width direction of the wallpaper on the top of a bed. The head is equipped with a motor(164) including a pinion gear(165), and a gear(113) being engaged with the pinion gear is formed on the rail. A protective pipe covering the cutter is attached to the bottom of the cylinder. |
