<p>PURPOSE: High-strength steel and a method of manufacturing the same are provided to lower failure rate by the decrease of impact difference. CONSTITUTION: High-strength steel consists of C of 0.07-0.10wt%, Si of 0.20-0.25wt%, Mn of 1.20-1.30wt%, P of 0-0.015wt%, S of 0-0.015wt%, Ni of 0-0.35wt%, Cr of 0-0.1wt%, Cu of 0.1-0.15wt%, V of 0.02-0.03wt%, Nb of 0.04-0.06wt%, N of 0-0.012wt%, Zr of 0.08-0.12wt%, and Fe and other inevitable impurities. In the impact test on the steel, the difference between the maximum value and the minimum value for impact of each part is below 20J in a rolling direction. The steel is an H steel.</p> |
