PURPOSE: A casting roll manufacturing method is provided to improve the reliability of a casting roll since the tensile strength, yield strength, and abrasion resistance of the casting roll are improved. CONSTITUTION: A casting roll manufacturing method comprises a mold(M) and inoculum(12). An outer layer material(10) is inserted into the mold to prevent a final solid portion from being overcooled. The inoculum comprises Re and Bi components on the lower end of the mold. Molten metal for forming inner layer material is injected into the mold and is solidified.
