SLAG POT OF SLAG OVERFLOW SUPPRESSION METHODS

PURPOSE: A slag overflow prevention method for a slag port is provided to prevent foaming of slag in a slag port by generating continuous blowing in the high-temperature slag, thereby preventing overflow. CONSTITUTION: A slag overflow prevention method for a slag port is as follows. Cooling water and nitrogen are injected at the fixed pressure to slag through an injection nozzle(31) of an overflow prevention device(30) in order to keep high-temperature slag(S) in a slag port from flowing over the slag port. The injection nozzle is moved close to the slag port and directly injects cooling water and nitrogen to the inside of slag in order to easily destroy the slag layer solidified on the surface of slag accommodated in the slag port. Nitrogen improves the impact of the cooling water so as to destroy the slag layer and prevent the formation of gas pockets.
