PURPOSE: A multi-purpose cooking vessel is provided to prevent a pan from becoming overheated and food from burning since the smooth convection of steam is ensured when the water boils. CONSTITUTION: A multi-purpose cooking vessel(100) comprises a body(10), a pan(20) and a lid(30). A first flame inlet port(11) is upward protruded from the bottom center of the body. A second flame inlet port(21) is upward protruded from the center of the pan. Plugs are installed on the first and second flame inlet ports and selectively open/close them.
