<p>PURPOSE: A ventilation system and a control method thereof are provided to ensure sufficient ventilation even if the static pressure in a duct increases. CONSTITUTION: A ventilation system(1) comprises an intake duct, an exhaust duct(20), an intake fan(15), an exhaust fan(25), a heat exchanger(5), an intake motor, an exhaust motor, and a control device. The intake duct forms an intake flow path(5a) for drawing outdoor air into the indoor space by the intake fan. The exhaust duct forms an exhaust flow path(5b) which crosses the intake duct and discharges indoor air to the outdoor space by the exhaust fan. The heat exchanger is installed in the intersection of the exhaust duct and the intake duct and implements heat-exchange between the outdoor air drawn in and the indoor air discharged. The intake motor and the exhaust motor respectively rotate the intake fan and the exhaust fan. The control device measures the driving current and rotation speed of the intake motor or/and the exhaust motor, estimates the current static pressure in a duct from the measurements, and determines the target rotation speed of the motor in order to raise or lower the current rotation speed of the motor.</p> |
