PURPOSE: An automatic box cleaning and drying apparatus is provided to reduce the size of the apparatus, since a housing is divided into a cleaning space and a drying space by a partition plate. CONSTITUTION: An automatic box cleaning and drying apparatus comprises a hollow housing(4), a partition plate(6), a transfer conveyor(14), a drop guide, a washing nozzle, a rinsing nozzle, an air nozzle, a heater(52), and a controller. The partition plate is horizontally installed on the inner middle of the housing and partitions the upper and lower parts of the housing into a cleaning space and a drying space(10). The transfer conveyor is installed in the clean space and the drying space, respectively. The drop guide drops a box(2), transferred by the transfer conveyor, from the clean space to the drying space. The washing nozzle, the rinsing nozzle, and the air nozzle are connected to a washing pump, a rinsing pump, and an air pump, respectively. The heater connects to the drying space and supplies hot air. The controller connects the transfer conveyor, the washing pump, the rinsing pump, the air pump, and the heater.
