The method involves defining an elementary sequence (OA) of assembling operations (OA1-OA3) of components of mechanical part, and manually supplying the components to be assembled during the elementary sequence into a supply zone (A). One of the assembling operations from the elementary sequence is performed in an assembly zone (B). The elementary sequence is defined so as to contain only the assembling operations of the components, which are performed automatically or manually. An independent claim is also included for an assembly line for components of mechanical part, comprising a set of integrated modular assembly cells for implementing an elementary step of a method for assembling components of a mechanical part.
