The shell-breaker has a fixed yoke (1) including parallel plates (10) with openings (11) that are arranged to form a main housing (110) forming a cradle to receive a dry fruit (F) or a crustaccan borer. A movable yoke (2) is arranged between the plates and articulated between passive and active positions. The movable yoke releases the openings to authorize the placing of the dry fruit or crustaccan borer in the housing, in the passive position.
