PURPOSE: An engine driven with waste heat and a power generating method using the same are provided to enable the accurate opening/closing of a vale without error by the mechanical operation of air supply and exhaust valves. CONSTITUTION: An engine driven with waste heat comprises a cylinder block(10), a piston, a crank shaft, a manifold(40), and a magnate. The cylinder block comprises multiple cylinders inside. The piston is formed in the cylinder and has two control pins on the top thereof. The crank shaft is installed inside the cylinder block and raises the piston. The manifold controls the air supply and exhaust of the gas with the control pins of the piston. The magnet is formed on one side of the crank shaft.
