PURPOSE: A wet-type dust collecting apparatus of a vacuum cleaner is provided to prevent the water from fluctuating by suction force or becoming discharged through an exhaust unit since a blocking plate blocks the transfer of the suction force through the exhaust unit. CONSTITUTION: A wet-type dust collecting apparatus of a vacuum cleaner comprises a first separating unit, an exhaust unit(210), and a path blocking member(700). The first separating unit separates dust from the air with the inner water. The exhaust unit comprises an exhaust port(212). For the exhaust unit to discharge the dust-separated air, the exhaust unit is installed in the first separating unit. The path blocking member is installed in the exhaust unit. The path blocking member blocks up the exhaust port by suction force through the exhaust unit and the buoyancy of the water to prevent the water from becoming discharged.
