BOIL OFF GAS CONTROL APPARATUS OF LNG CARRIERS

PURPOSE: A boil-off gas control apparatus of an LNG carrier is provided to reduce boil-off gas since over-cooled nitrogen is supplied to the insulating space of a hold to cool the hold. CONSTITUTION: A boil-off gas control apparatus of an LNG carrier comprises a nitrogen supply unit(110) and a heat exchange unit(120). The nitrogen supply unit supplies the nitrogen through a nitrogen line(112). The nitrogen line is connected to the insulating space of a hold. The heat exchange unit over-cools the supplied nitrogen to cool the hold. The heat exchange unit absorbs heat-exchanged over-cooled nitrogen through a cooling line(122). The cooling line is connected to the insulating space of the hold. The cooling line is connected to the insulating space of an IBS(Inter Barrier Space) through the dome structure of the hold and supplies the over-cooled nitrogen to the IBS only.
