PURPOSE: An air-conditioner for a vehicle is provided to secure the maximum air mixing space in a flow channel by selectively opening and closing a vent outlet and a defrost outlet with a single mode door. CONSTITUTION: An air-conditioner for a vehicle comprises an air-conditioner case(200), an evaporator, a heater core, and a mode door. The air-conditioner case has a flow channel for guiding the air to a plurality of outlets. The mode door selectively opens and closes the outlets. The mode door comprises including a rotary shaft whose both ends are coupled to the inner wall of the air-conditioner case, a first plate which is radially extended from a side of the rotary shaft, and a second plate which is radially extended from the other side of the rotary shaft, to be longer than the first plate.
