PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for sensing a moving object and a virtual golf simulation device using the same are provided to accurately extract the center point coordinate of an overlapped object. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for sensing a moving object comprises a sensor unit and a sensing process unit(220). The sensor unit acquires a multiple exposure image about a moving object. The sensing process unit is composed of a first processing unit(230) and a second processing unit(240). The first processing unit extracts an object image region in which the image of a moving object is expressed while being overlapped. The second processing unit extracts two or more center points about the object image region.
