PURPOSE: A thin film transistor substrate and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent the deterioration of contact property and to maintain liquid crystal display cell interval. CONSTITUTION: A signal line is formed on an insulating substrate. A color filter(230) is formed on the insulating substrate. A thin film is connected to the signal line. An organic insulating film(180) is formed on the color filter and includes a first part and a second part. A light blocking member is formed on the second part of the organic insulating film.
