PURPOSE: A user interface method and a mobile terminal using the same are provided to improve a user's convenience by reducing the user's access route to the execution of a desired service. CONSTITUTION: One or more shortcut icons related to a phone number icon is displayed on adjacent place of the phone number icon in the wall paper(S31). If the shortcut icon is selected, the designated application is executed(S34,S35). The shortcut icon comprises one or more functions among a group shortcut icon for a phone book, a voice communication shortcut icon, a video call shortcut icon, an SMS(Short Message Service) shortcut icon, a schedule shortcut icon, or a menu icon. |
