The system has a supporting wedge (37) for Z positioning of an optical component (35) closer to an electromagnetic radiation detector i.e. cooled infrared detector. A unit passively aligns in X, Y by holding the wedge and/or a holding ball (36), where the axes are perpendicular to each other. The optical component is integrated into a cryostat. The optical component and a readout circuit (20) of the detector are electrically connected by the holding ball. An independent claim is also included for a method for making a detector system. |
