PURPOSE: A method for printing document based on black optimization printing option and an image forming apparatus and a host device for performing the same are provided to select a print mode by the degree of the colors of the document. CONSTITUTION: A storage(230) stores a received document, and a generated fourth color matching table. A selecting unit(222) selects a print method between a first print method which prints by a third color matching table, and a second print method which prints by a fourth color matching table according to the red, green, and blue values of the received document. An image generator(251) applies one of the third color matching table or the fourth color matching table by the result of the selection. The image generator prints the stored document. |
