PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for recommending of search formula are provided to supply a recommended to a user by storing an inputted search formula as a keyword. CONSTITUTION: A first storage unit(220) stores recommended formulas, and a second storage unit(240) stores a recommended keyword included in the recommended search formulas as well as the number of the recommended keywords. A search input unit(250) receives a target search formula depending on a user input, and extracts a target keyword included in the target search formula. A search formula extraction unit(260) extracts from the first storage unit the recommended formula including one of the keywords and the target keyword. A search formula arrangement unit(270) outputs a list which is arranged based on the number of the recommended keywords.
